[Ma...]
I need to know if I cad do this. I have the professional license. 1. I have either CAD files at the ready 2. I have a scan of six parts in one volume - I separated the volumes successfully but are now in Part 1, Part 2 .... etc 3. I want to compare them to the CAD and to each other 4. Prealignment works well with each one. 5. I also want to compare a similar scanned model that is slightly different and compare to the other 6 scans I have MODEL-A scanned and MODEL-B scanned and want to check the differences between them and to see if the shared similar features match. There are only slight design differences and they would prealign with each other, if that is a thing.
[Ma...]
I think you can use stages - it's not for comparison between each other, but against one model. Also you can use measured part as CAD or golden part. If you need to export measured data - i would start with G3D - i think it's native and without drawbacks as STL ( and it's smaller than STL )
[Na...]
As Please sign in to view this username. writes, this is an application for a stage project. For X-Ray this article could help to transfer the parts into separate stages: ZEISS Quality Tech Guide For part-part comparisons between stages, right click on the timeline -> manage stages -> set reference. This is also described in part 3 of the Inspect basic training.
