[Ch...]
Hello Community, Does anyone know how I can construct two intersecting lines (as shown in the attached figure) to measure the height of the intersection point of the two lines (point 2) in relation to the lower mesh area? (point 1) I have constructed 4 planes to measure the angles myself. It also illustrates what I need to obtain the height between point 1 and point 2. Thanks a lot for your help. [Ma...]
You can not measure height of a line, but you can measure a height of a point. I am not sure how your part looks like, but i would use caliper disk or edge ( 2x ) to obtain contact point ( your 1. ) Your 2. is easier with lines than planes. Just use intersection element - populate form and you will get either line of point. For line you have to specify with next intersection to get a single point. Then you can use projected distance, which will tell you your height.
[Jo...]
If you work with a silhoutte or section it could be easier. You can then create the points "1" by creating an intersection point between the silhoutte (curve) an the symmetry-line between the two lines on the left and right. [No...]
For point 1 (in a section) you could also use a disc touch point on a selection, if you want the lowest point. Just make sure to adjust the selection and the touch direction properly.
