[yo...]
I was working in inspect yesterday no problems. Then today I start it up and pan and orbit doesn't work. Also clicking on the axis orientation in the bottom left of the viewport doesn't do anything. If I go up to view I can change the view with the different options there. Right clicking in the viewport makes the mouse turn into the orbit icon but nothing moves. pressing the scroll wheel makes the pan icon appear but nothing moves. Scrolling in and out with the scroll wheel still works though. Any ideas?
[Na...]
Hi, which Software Version are you using? Are you already on Inspect 2026? Maybe there is a dialog open in the background which prohibits the use of the mouse in the 3D view?
[yo...]
This is on a new computer so I actually just installed a couple days ago. Everything is up to date and current. So yes 2026. Everything worked normally for a couple days then the next day I started it up and it didn't. As I have said I tried closing the app multiple times. Tried rebooting the computer a couple times and issue is still there. Also my spacemouse does work but that brings us back to the other issue that GOM inspect has had issues with spacemouse settings for years and when I try to invert direction settings in the spacemouse settings for GOM inspect it doesn't do it in the application. Since I am so used to running it inverted it is useless to me without being able to change that.
[An...]
I have the same issue on Inpect 2026 that i just installed. Today i installed Inspect 2026 and at the first start I noticed immediatly that the pan doesn't work, in 3D view the only thing that works is the scroll wheel for zoom. I still have 2025 installed and if I open that version it works without problem but both opening a new project or a old one made with 2025 in 2026 have this mouse problem. I tried to restart the pc but nothing happen
[Na...]
Hello, I will forward this problem to the development. Do you have 'hide task bar automatically' in the Windows task bar settings active? Please try to deactivate it as a workaround. It could also help to use the software in a window and not fullscreen. Please sign in to view this username. maybe the spacemouse is interfering with the 3D view - but it's just a wild guess
[yo...]
OMG that is annoying but funny. I had enabled the disappearing taskbar because another app kept hiding buttons behind it. I have since enabled it and just tested and yes pan and orbit do work with the taskbar unhidden. Thanks
