[An...]
Hi, with the update 2026 i found out that when I polygonize a scan only 16 thread are being used instead of the 64 i have at my disposal. My cpu is a AMD Threadripper 7970x (32C-64T) overclocked to 5GHz all core with 128GB 6000MT/s low latency DDR5. In the 2025 release all the cpu is used withpout any problem and the polygonize function in very fast while only in 2026 i find this problem. I already checked in option how many thread the software can use and is already set to 64. Is there anything i can do? Is it a known problem or you need to look up into? [Ma...]
I wonder if checkbox button is checked for use all resources. I would try also uncheck -> save -> check again -> save.
[An...]
I don't see any option to use all resources, only selecting the total amount of logical core, I already tried to change the setting to a different value, saving it and reverting it to
[Ma...]
Seems like 2025 had option which should behave same like this "Number of logical processors" I am a little bit skeptical about using so much threads - it's a hell of programming to use such high number and keep it controlled. [An...]
Any news regarding this issue?
[Di...]
Hello Andrea Sacilotto, we are aware that the behavior you mentioned is occurring in SW2026. We are working on a solution that would be released with SW2026-SP1, which would enable you to again use all 64 logical processors of your machine.
