We turned on the table files for external reasons, but now with 2025 it is trying to save as a excel file also... not just the chr.txt,fet.txt, and hdr.txt files. [Jo...] Posted Saturday at 11:51 AM Author Share Posted Saturday at 11:51 AM yes.. we do not want to use excel at all... just the .txt files.. they are used in an external program company wide... several different machines, hand held devices, and manually input all use this format so i have to have it on, just not the actual excel file... [Jo...] Posted Saturday at 04:38 PM Author Share Posted Saturday at 04:38 PM update... thanks for the information. i went and gave full access to the folder, then used PCM to rename the folder at the start of every program, then change it back at the end of every program... this way in the future, i could had conditions to it if i had to use excel for a specific program (don't know if i would since going to piweb anyways) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
