[Jo...]
Just installed calypso 2025 on my offline seat. Set everything up... machine tabs, rotary table, etc... Lots of problems... 1) when opening program, work piece looks to be 6-7" into the machine. 2) Cannot probe the machine "plate surface" 3) trying to establish RT... if I open the base alignment and do a manual alignment, it flips the part about 105 degrees towards the back of the machine... if i just open then close and let the machine do it, it will flip the part 180 degrees (upside down). I have been doing the planner since 4.0 and never had this before. I contacted Zeiss but thought maybe someone has had this happen... Note all my machines are on 2020 with a RT01 and not an AB... I don't know if this is what causing the issues (can't see why because its virtual on planner)
[Ja...]
It's been a big headache for me and several others too. And it's not just 1 problem - It seems to affect different machines differently. For me, the execution mode is insanely slow. Sometimes it will take a single feature 10-20 minutes to execute. [Jo...] Posted yesterday at 07:39 PM Author Share Posted yesterday at 07:39 PM Biggest problem is that the machine models are not correct... there is about 6" of extra granite surface... I have take great time to mimic my actual machine on my offline machine down to movable chuck jaws. Every version until now, the work areas and models (programs) come in exactly the same. Now, they are in the machine itself. I have 4 older prismos (oldest one is from 1997) with a 1200 1800 1000 volume. Did a simple test.. top of platter is rough -37" from machine zero on my machine.... loaded my platter cad model, translated down that much...its in the machine. Reached out to Zeiss no help so far. [Pa...]
Yep. They totally broke simulation. We pay Zeiss a LOT of money just so we can be their beta testers.
