Coordinates for excel

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to pull x,y coordinates from previously ran parts that had a change in the program? I have results to file set to 999999 and tried loading in measured points, but there was a change to the program about a month prior after the parts were ran. These parts take a little while to run so any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Assuming you saved the measurements and they included the features you want the XYZ data from, tick the XYZ coordinates box for each feature, then do a subsequent evaluation of multiple measurements (under the Plan menu drop down).

DWC,

Thank you for getting back to me. I tried what you said and I couldn't get x,y position into excel from true position. Does this work if I need this from characteristic rather than feature?

If you want the coordinates for true position to output into Excel, etc, go to the 'Resources' menu, drop down to 'Characteristics Settings Editor', 'Report', then over and down to 'Additional report'. Select your true positions, and move the 'Set To' toggle to 'On'. Now under the 'Plan' menu you can do subsequent evaluations of all the parts at once.

DWC,

Thank you again! To my original post, there was a change within the program after the part was ran to one of the datums attached to the true position characteristic. Is it still possible to obtain x, and y coordinates even after there was a change to those datums? (I was able to get the x,y coordinates for some of the parts since they were ran after the change within the program)

Was the new datum measured in the old program? If so, yes.

No, the new datum was never measured for the parts that I need to pull measured points from. Is this still possible?
