Unable to read the ID/ sensor did not carry out the measurement with the expected measuring force errors at the same time?

Hello, today and yesterday i have noticed some errors will keep on appearing, they seem to happen at random but It just started appearing about a week ago and is now very common to see, i don't recall seeing these errors before.

"Unable to read the ID 000INEL0, an ID chip may be defective. Please check." (the ID changes between a couple different errors)

and

"The sensor did not carry out the measurement with the expected measuring force. Possible causes: Scanning speed too high or part form or position deviation greater than the given sensor deflection" (If i remember correctly this also displayed an error of

The probe is scanning at 0.2 (inches per second?) which seems pretty slow and I have done scans like this very often with no issues. Should I be scanning even slower? it is a pretty large bore about 1.5 inches diameter. Could these errors be related to some kind of damage to the cmm? Ive only recently started working with this cmm and it isnt run very often.

Im using a contura g2 with a Vast XXT

Sounds like a communication issue with the sensor and the probe. Have you tried cleaning the probe plate, making sure the contacts are clean and that the plate sits flush and doesn't rock in the sensor?

I have cleaned it recently with a q tip and denatured alcohol, ill try cleaning it off again and see if the issue continues. Just checked and it doesnt rock in the sensor

The first message is the more concerning to me. Not reading the chip ID can indicate a lot of different things, but it basically breaks down into not getting the data on the ID chip to the controller.

The second message is just something you are going to see from time to time with passive heads because they cannot react to deformations and unexpected locations like an active head can. See https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=443336 for more information.
