How to get alignment Transformation values?

hello!
I would like to get the transformation from the initial pose of the 'actual' geometry to the pose after alignment. I could not find any accessible way.

Specifically I am looking for the offset + rotation XYZ + Rx,Ry,Rz, but would be also happy with any other form of the pose transform.

I'm using Zeiss inspect 2025 (free license)

Hi Sven,

the basic workflow would be:

  • (switch to initial alignment)
  • create nominal local coordinate system on CAD or nominal geometry-> measuring principle 'referenced construction'
    • if you don't want to refer to geometry elements, you can create a local coordinate system 'by orientation' and use 'copy as actual'
  • select the actual local coordinate system -> properties and check 'alignment required'
  • check nominal coordinate system with I-Inspect for position and angles
  • change to different alignment. Values will represented in the active alignment
