Point at an angle

Good morning. Happy New Year! I'm having trouble measuring the depth of a hole at an angle, point at the bottom. I measured the cylinder without any problems. The mandrel is at the cylinder's angle. How do I measure the length of this cylinder? What point and what strategy should I use? Thank you.

Can you reach to take the touch point in that depth?
If you can and you are having another feature to get beggining of that cylinder, than you can use cartesian distance - Feature1 -> touch point / Feature2 -> ideally plane from begining of cylinder.

If you can provide more information I'm sure we can help.  Got a snapshot of the drawing?  How deep a hole are we talking?  What problems are you seeing?

Given what we do know I'd do exactly as Martin suggests.
