Probe qualification program.

All of a sudden, starting on Saturday 1-10-26 the CMM is acting up after doing probe qualifications using an Autorun program.  We have probing system qualification programs in the Autorun for each probe and then a program that will run all of them one after the other.  This is on a Duramax CMM.  These programs have ran flawlessly for years, at least since 2010. Havin individual probe qualification programs allows ease of use for the operator in the cell to qualify a probe real quick if he feels the need to.

The current issue is that when they click on a specific probe to qualify, it runs the qualification and then at the end of the program the probe shoots straight up in Z and end errors out by hitting the limit.

There has been no change whatsoever to the program(s). I am the only one who can change or modify CMM programs.  The probes have not changed. The reference sphere has not changed. The software has not been changed.

The only thing that happens to this PC is that IT forces security updates once a month.

Totally stabbing in the dark here -

Any chance there's been a change to the clearance settings in the Run Window as shown below?

Is there a PCM file containing a park position that has been altered?

Chance you've had a change to Plan/Navigation/CNC End Park Position?

I know that Autorun locks down a lot of stuff but I've never used it.

Does the stylus register as qualified after the limit stop, or does this red light interrupt?

It will register as qualified.  It will come off the ball above where the clearance cube would be, hesitates for a second and then goes straight up....red light. 15 command cancelled - hardware end position.

Not sure why all of a sudden this would be happening.

I turned the CMM completely off this morning.  Restarted, let it move to HOME position, grabbed the Master probe from the rack automatically and qualified Master.  This is a Duramax CMM so the sphere is bolted to the CMM and never moves.
