[Te...]
Hello, I'm experiencing an unusual issue. I have a CAD model loaded, and when I attempt to measure a circle (nothing out of the ordinary), the probe approaches the feature prematurely and makes contact with a plane before reaching the hole. Could this behaviour be caused by a problem with the model, or is there another likely source of the issue?

Sorry, it's been a long day here and I needed a laugh! 4
[Ow...]
A quick check would be to make sure the inside/outside switch (round circle at top of feature) is selected correctly. I've seen features taken from a cad model default to OD when it is actually an ID. Also, features checked with an angled probe should use a clearance distance the same as the retract distance with the retract distance calculated to the center of the hole.. Most features don’t use a clearance distance but, on angled probe features, it must be used or the probe will not travel exactly at the A1/A2 angle when (for example) going into or coming back out of a hole. [Ke...]
Is this happening in simulation, or on a physical machine? Based on description the first thing I would check is the ID/OD toggle for the circle, this happens semi-frequently where the ID hole is set to OD, and tries to move through the part to approach from the outside of the feature instead of inside
