User defined check conditional choice

Hello,

I would like to create a user defined check.

I would like to get the maximum from different lenght dimensions (e.g.: A,B,C,D actual value), but only take the value into account if the dimension is within 40 mm.

How can I create such conditional entries? I guess I should combine it with if statement.

That is easy to do, but you did not define what you want the output to be if the condition is not met?  

Define what should happen in all possible conditions.

I would like it to ignore the given value if it does not meet the specified condition.
