[Al...]
To preface I am fairly new to GearPro and reading gear drawings/prints in general. I am running into an issue with a gear that is giving me a collision error around the 7th and 8th tooth in a 12-tooth gear. I've sent the program to Zeiss and when simulating they didn't see anything wrong with it or the data I input from the print. Is there something I am missing here? During Feed-In when aligning to the gear it does give me a pop-up noting the measured tooth thickness does not match the calculated tooth thickness from my Addendum Modification Coefficient x, I will also note that I have tried multiple different base alignments and am running into the same issue(s). [Ro...]
You didn´t attached a measurement actual file .act from the GEAR PRO run. Maybe I can see something inside of that. In the nominals or simulation you´ll not find the answer for the collision. You have a small gear with 0,5 mm sphere diameter. Where do you get the collision error? At profile/helix or at pitch measurement? Maybe you think about changing the feed-in and pitch measurement position as it is defined in the root zone. [Al...]
Thanks for the suggestions! The collision error comes when going in for pitch measurement. I've tried adjusting the measuring position for my pitch as well as the Feed-In position but no luck. I am still receiving that error.
[Ro...]
Can you provide a small video from the situation?
