Why don't I have the same results between 2 Templates (Program)?

Hello, 

I did receive lately a file (.zinspect) from a colleague in another factory, I took his CAD & Mesh and I created another programme from 0.

I use the 2025 version of Zeiss Inspect, and the template shared with me was from 2018 Gom Inspect.

After finishing the program, I didn't find the same results.

I did use the same type of alignment (RPS), the same type of features and measurement principles; the measurement is a deflection with surface points (dN).

I did everything that I know but always not the same results.

Results are in inch.

Hello Oualid,

it is hard to say without the projects and data, but some reasons could be:

• different parameters in measuring princpiples (all points vs. 3 sigma in Gauß fitting elements for example)
• some algorithm changed for example gray value features
• Alignment with iteration uses a different number of iterations
• ...

To  be sure please reach out to your local support with the data for analysis.
