[Ch...]
I have inherited an ATOS 3 Rev 2 scanner from our affiliate in Germany. We are in the US. It came with the a fixture plate table and a nice rotary(pic attached); However, I would like to find an arm like is pictured in my second attachment. I've reached out to Zeiss but have not received a response yet. Can anyone tell me what this mounting arm is called, or send me a link, or recommend any other ways to hold this thing like in the second picture? Also, if anyone wants to fill me in with some good tips and tricks about using the ATOS, that would be greatly appreciated.
[Jo...]
Hello Chad, we got the column stand in the picture. The manufacturer is Foba. You should be able to use any kind of stand or tripod, that is not moving too much. For tips and tricks, there is just to much to mention for this format: I would say get a good airbrush to able to apply a thin even layer of for example titaniumoxid mixed with methylated spirit. Have a look at some youtube videos for getting startet and the Zeiss techguide. https://techguide.zeiss.com/en/zeiss-inspect-2025/article/user_guidance_gom_tech_guide.html Edited Thursday at 07:46 AM
[Ch...]
Much appreciated it. Don't tell Zeiss, but I already have a Keyence VL scanner, but we're really looking forward to trying the GOM out. We've been using some 1 mircon aerosol spray on the Keyence and I think it will work well with the GOM. My only issue right now is that the software is still in German. Can someone screenshot where the language section of the software is? If not, it looks like Ich lerne Deutsch sprechen.
[Jo...]
For me a paintprush is vastly superior to any spray just because the distribution is so much better especially with narrow grooves and small details. Hope those screenshots help with your language problem.
