GOM Professional V8, Calibration Import Dropdown Greyed Out

I'm using software GOM Professional V8 on a GOM Atos 3 rev 2.

I just got this machine from an affiliate and we really don't know anything about it.

Here's my issue, I'm trying to run the calibration, but the dropdown to import the calibration file is greyed out(see attached).  I've checked and the calibration files for this plate are in the appdata folder.   But I don't know how to load it.

On our Atos5 you are loading calibration files via web page ( go to setup measuring setup via help / System analysis ) and on ATOS device is a button for web service.

Also before calibration you should setup / ensure you have selected correct measuring volume.
Then it should use only correct calibration plane with dots. For MV it should be a specific one.
Can you click on Edit button?

Hello Chad,

can you load the files into the preferences -> templates -> calibration objects? Should appear in that dialog afterwards.

preferences -> templates -> calibration objects    This allowed me to import the correct calibration file.  Will try this very soon.   I'm pretty confident we have the correct plate for our lenses and measuring volume.

The web is an issue for us at the moment.  It's a windows 7 computer and our IT department will only allow Windows 11 and Windows 10 devices with extended support to connect to our network or the web.   They tend to make lots of special exceptions for me and we're working on a solution.

I'd like to upgrade to Zeiss Inspect using a new version of windows, but that a future project.  I feel like I'll run into all sorts of compatibility issues once I try to upgrade the computer and software.

Web part is only connection to ATOS device ( it's IP ) so it should'n trigger anything.

I saw webserver is running at localhost:PORT and for device control you would have IP for device ( not sure how ATOS 3 is with this )
Our ATOS 5 is connected to PC via 10GBps optical lan card - how is that on ATOS 3?
