Good morning, I've purchased a probe with a 0.3 mm diameter (extremely small), and when I calibrate it, the result is insufficient. I think it's because during the calibration process, the probe catches on the probe shaft. Where can I change the settings so that it calibrates successfully? Thank you very much.

Hello again, I'm still having problems and it's still giving me insufficient calibration. I've even lowered the degrees to 90, but when the dial makes the first circular sweep, it still hits the stem... I don't know if that's the problem. I don't know if I should also increase the limit values, the sigma, and so on...

What probehead are you utilizing? If it is an xxt system, changing the angular coverage will not have the desired effect, your only option would be to acquire a smaller aphere so that the probe does not hit.

Good morning, Kevin. I think that's my problem... My sphere is 30 mm in diameter. What sphere do you recommend so I can perform a successful calibration?

Hi AdrianI hope you can help me with this; I bought a sphere with a diameter of 8 mm with the stem that I use on the sphere with a diameter of 30 mm, and when calibrating the small probe with a diameter of 0.3 mm, I get the following.

"The probe calibration could not be performed with this standard sphere. Check the radius of the standard sphere's stem. It has been detected that the stem radius of the standard sphere is more than 60 percent of the radius of the standard sphere."

I should also mention that the master calibrated this new 8mm diameter sphere without any problems. What is the diameter of the stem on your 8mm diameter sphere? Thanks in advance.
