[Ni...]
We are seeing this warning / question pop-up at random times while programming (typically during simulation) as well as at times while executing measurement plans on one of our three CMM's. We have verified that the programs / parts this is occurring on are only open on a single workstation and are not open on multiple workstations. I remember having this issue many years ago, but was not persistent and I have not seen the warning for quite some time. We simply hit "YES" and continue with our day as normal, however, the problem is now occurring many times throughout a single day. After searching the forums, I have been unable to find any posts related to the issue. Does anyone know what causes this issue, and if so what may be a possible remedy for it? [Do...]
I've seen something similar happen with the Excel report years ago (not sure if it was a similar error message). Calypso would encounter an issue when trying to open and write to a template file, saying it was already open. It would only occur on one machine, regardless of which program was run. I think we ended up needing a Windows update on that PC as there was something to do with a license file or version issue that Calypso was not happy about. [Je...]
Please sign in to view this username. , Calypso has been and is still quite unstable when running from a network location. Best practice is to backup to a network location but always run and save to a local drive (solid state drive is possible).
