Email with attachments

I just received an e-mail from Abbas Ahmad (Zeiss) concerning "Required Exchange of Your Certificate for Smart Services Dashboard Product"

This looks fishy. Has anyone else received this e-mail with two attachments. One is a .pdf and the other a zipped folder.

 Yea, do not open that. Hit the "Report Phishing" button in Outlook so your IT can take a look at it.

I would like to clarify that the email you received today is not a phishing attempt. All Smart Service customers received this communication. The email contains your certificates for Smart Service, along with detailed instructions on how to update them.

Please note that your current certificates are set to expire on March 31. It is crucial that you update your certificates before this date to ensure uninterrupted access to your Smart Service dashboard. Failure to do so may result in your dashboard being offline.

Zeiss needs to be aware that the world is changing.  Unsolicited emails are always fishy now.  Everything about these emails ticks every box on the IT no-no's lists we're trained to.  I'm sure thousands of us reported that as spam and deleted permanently.

If it's crucial, please resend.
