[Da...]
Hello, Does anyone know how I can export the points of a curve, for example? And if, once exported, I can convert them to different formats that can be viewed in CAD, for example? Thank you very much.

[Da...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Hi Nanno, Are you referring to the Calypso version of the software or the software I want to load the points onto later? I want to load the points on a different computer. [Da...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Hello again, here's the situation: The software on the computer where I have the CMM is: WINDOWS 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC version 21H2. The software on the computer where I want to work with the extracted points is: WINDOWS 11 Enterprise version 23H2. The Calypso version I have is 7.8.12. Is this what you're asking for? Thank you very much.
[Na...]
Hi David, this forum is for all kind of Zeiss Softwares, so it was not clear it's about Calypso. I will move this thread to the Calypso subforum.

[Jü...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Hello David, you can export the points of a curve as DXF. To do this, right-click on the curve and select “Export points.” In the window, you can then adjust the settings and finally select the path for the file. If you want to have multiple curves in one file, call up the points of all curves in a freeform surface and then export the points of the surface. I've already been able to export them; now I just need to be able to load them into AutoCAD... hehe. Can you help me with that too?😉
[An...]
Please sign in to view this quote. You can export the points to say text file, vda, dxf by right clicking the curve and doing export points. As far as viewing it in CAD, you may have to load it into a cad software first to convert it into a model.
[Da...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Thank you so much, Anthony. I've already been able to download them, but now I'm having trouble loading them into the CAD software. I load them, but I don't see anything. But that must be my problem. Thanks again. [Ra...]
The issue is mostly likely Calypso's native delimiter being a space. I have a PCM workaround, but another simpler way is just opening the text file in notepad, do a find and replace. In the "find" field, just tap the spacebar to add a space. In the replace field, place a single comma. Select replace all and save it. You may need to save it as a .csv, or something else. I'm not familiar with AutoCAD.
