[To...]
I have a Calypso 2020 program that I need to run on Calypso 2019. In the past, in situations like this, I would delete the ver file and and the program would open on a older version of Calypso. ( I understand this is not safe nor is it suggested by Zeiss, but I assumed all risk.) In some cases I would have to delete the inspset file to make it able to be opened. Well, those steps are not working in this situation so I am off on my journey to re-write the program in 2019. Fortunately, I will be able to have the 2020 program open on a monitor nearby, so I can at least use it as guide which should make the process go a lot faster. Now, my question. I've always been under the opinion there was no way to copy features/characteristics from one program to another unless you were doing it in the same session of Calypso on one pc. However, I know there are some of you that have come up with strange workarounds for a lot of "can't do" scenarios. Any ideas on how to copy from one version on one pc to another version on another pc? Anything that will make this task easier?
[Ri...]
Does this program have Curves in it? That's usually one of the most difficult features to downgrade. Maybe you could at least remove those, or remove certain pieces of the program to get it to open in an older version.
