PiWeb will not create reports

Hello all,

We're running Calypso 8.0 and PiWeb basic. The reports will not show up at the end of program on random programs. Some will spit out a report just fine and others, even when recreated, will not output any report. Was this a known condition with PiWeb for 8.0? I saw there is a new service pack but it's for the enterprise version, does that fix the issue with basic?

If you go into your Multiple Reports window, is the multiple reports checkbox at the very top of the window checked?

Hi Andy,

Yes it is. Methinks it's a bug of some type that may have to do with our IT security. I don't have this issue on any of the other O Inspect machines, only the one that is running 8.0. Thank you for the help though. 🙂

Turns out, if your IT department decides to restrict absolutely everything, it will also stop PiWeb from generating reports, and Calypso from starting too. No idea which setting or settings were the culprit, but once they went through each one, they found a setting that prevented the reports from generating.

Hi,

The IT department refused to tell me specifically what setting, or settings, stopped PiWeb from printing reports due to potential risks to our security. Kinda disappointing because now that the other OMM's were upgraded to 8.0, they all have the same issue, and IT will not be available to resolve it until early April.
