[Da...]
I'm fairly new to the Calypso world so bare with me. I'm using an offline seat with several Active and Passive stylus systems already in use. The current programmer does not use the simulation feature of Calypso. When I try to use it, I find the probe representation to be very inaccurate. Doing some research and finding you can create SSC files that are a very good representation of the probe assemblies. How can I create these SSC files and get the current stylus systems to use these models for simulation which I guess are PCF files?
[Ri...]
Use "Stylus System Creator" to create probes. This will create SSC files which can be imported into Planner.
[Ca...]
Hi David, There are some free resources in the Knowledge Base for creating SSC files. You can find a lot of them by searching the Knowledge Base for Simulation or SSC files. Here's a link to one article that could help to get you started: https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=2127111 - There is a section near the end titled "Setting up an Offline Seat of CALYPSO
