ACIS Socket Already in Use with Gear Pro 2024 and Calypso 2023

I am running into an issue with trying to run Gear Pro 2024 with Calypso 2023.  When I launch Gear Pro 2024, I get a message say "ACIS Socket Already in Use".  See attached. Any idea why this message appears?

Also, when I click "OK" to the message "ACIS Socket Already in Use", I can start inputting the main geometry for the gear, but the "DISPLAY GEO" button to generate the CAD model is greyed out.  See attached.

getting same issue at one of our site with GP 2021.

However ours is set up exactly as shown.

We are on windows 10, and I'm thinking a windows update could have blocked this port or more likely I.T. security. It appears there is an inbound rule to allow it to open on ours, however when I ping open ports I see Calypso is listening but 9996 or Gear Pro acis is not open or listening.

Following to see any progress, but our next step is to upgrade to 2023 and Win 11, then our I.T. Dept can help us.

Out of curiosity do you have any issues with running multiple parts? I can seem to only run one part then Gear Pro seems to crash and I have to shut down PC. A restart doesn't even fix it.

wellp,   uninstall / reinstall no worky here.

I tried repair first, back'ed up the GearNT folder. got rid of entire acis folder then tried  uninstall /reinstall

I even managed to make sure port 9996 is open using cmd code to get around IT security, it seemed to work and show it was open listening,

 services file is mapped right to port GEARACIS 9996/tcp

I could see if Calypso and Gear Pro were using same version of ACIS, however our GR is v31 and Calypso is v32 Acis.
