[Jo...]
Is it possible to get information from an external PCM file into Piweb report? I have an external pcm file that gets probe information and validates it... before you ask I know i can use the probe qual inside a program or use result element also... we didn't do that setup so i do not want to go back into 1400 programs to do it.... I probably can use a new header variable do set my variables to, but with multiple probes being used in the programs, i really do not know how to set that up on a loop. What my file contains is a loop with the probes used in the program (based on another text file we put in the inspection folder) and checks for our probe qualification data. so if a program has three probes it would be PROBE(1), PROBE(2), PROBE(3) and what ever variable I have to check ( getProbe(Probe(1)).stdProbeDev for an example). [Do...]
Hi, this is not possible. It is a new requirement to write the probe data as name-value pairs into the database. [Jo...]
I actually got it to work... sort of.... I created my PCM variable, did all my editing inside PCM then used a setRecordHead() variable to my variable. Used a single text box with the header data variable i created and it appears on the report. I get an error message now in calypso before i click on anything (not just inside a program)...see attached... and when i run a program. this is not just in CALYPSO 2025 but also in 2020. The variable reads correctly and is setup, but as soon as I set it to a header variable, after the 1st run, it gives me the error.... for every single line of the variable. [Jo...]
I got 99% of it to work. The problem is with the error message. I found a work around but it only works if i do it manually. The variable is stored in the protheadpara file, so when i delete that i get no message and program runs. I tried to do the deletion with PCM in the inspection_end_pcm.txt file... and it does delete it, but when it comes back, i get the error message, but when i cancel and manual delete...no message.....Am I loosing my mind?
