Machine hitting limits.

Does anyone know why my Contura would be hitting the limits outside of the clearance planes?  They are set correctly, the box looks correct yet when I execute program after first plane is measured, the movement goes 6 inches outside clearance plane and alarms out.

do you have a screenshot from your "Alarm" ? Are you to close to the travel limit of the CMM?

If you have a part close to machine limits and you have VAST XT for example and probes which is shorter than probe head, then it will move further.

Please specify your setup further 🙂
