[Ma...]
[Ma...]
Hi, if you have newer version of Calypso, then there is this characteristic. I know for sure it's in 2024 ( 7.8 ) On older you have to either create copies of original curve and remove corresponding nominals or select only one segment from feature ( if it's doable - not tried yet )
[Ri...]
You can use the Classic GD&T Line Profile with Reference, but it does not calculate correctly. It still evaluates the entire Line Profile, then just shows the deviation of each reference to the entire Profile. It doesn't behave the same way as a Straightness Reference. I was trying it on our part, and it was working while only datum was rotational axis.
[Ri...]
It technically should create a best-fit for each segment, but it creates the best-fit for the entire curve, and then just slices it up based on the distance you set.
[Ma...]
Hello! thanks for your answeres! Please sign in to view this quote. We use V8.0 Calypso 2025 but its look like as Calypso calculate that not correct.
[Ma...]
Please sign in to view this quote. That is my Problem, In my case, i must slice the entire curve to 52 segments (overall lengh of the Curve is 520mm) if I will have the exact requirement. The Requirement on the Drawing is on two Measurement-Highs. So I must setup 104 Segments 🫣 and every Segment must set to Best-Fit. Now I create an workaround. I slice the Curve in 14 Segments and calculate for each of this Segments the Best-Fit. Now I let calculate the Deviation for 10mm Steps. I know that ist not the best, but the best of two Worlds between exact to the Norm/Requirements and the technical enviroment.
