Calypso / PiWeb – Standard and Statistics Protocol Automation

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to create a standard protocol and a statistics protocol for every program so I don’t have to do everything manually in PiWeb.

I tried doing it in Calypso and it worked, but there are two problems.
First, it adds Protocol 1 (standard) and Protocol (statistic) 2 to every measurement.
Second, both protocols have to be saved in the same directory.

I want to keep the standard protocol like before, in a separate location, and avoid having to remove the “1” from the protocol name every time.

For the statistics protocol, I want it saved in a different location as a single file. It should combine all measurements instead of creating a new protocol for each one.

Does anyone know a way to do this?

I attached some pictures to clarify the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately PiWeb even if you have multiple protocols/templates there is only one option for setting the directory for all PiWeb PDF reports.

The only sudo work around that might work is to use ghost protocols as an alternative path. Ghost protocols is a merged PDF output, so it would put both your PiWeb protocols into one PDF but that can then be set to a different directory and you can then keep the first protocol template to the other location you prefer.

Here is a link on how to setup ghost protocols if interested.

Note the individual protocols will still be made and saved in the PiWeb PDF directory, the merged ghost script PDF would just be in addition to those PDFs, but can be controlled to a different directory.

The cleaner route would to use some scripts/batch files to move the files post run if you are savey enough to do that.
