[Wi...]
Hey guys, I'm struggling with getting reporting set up correctly. Biggest current problem is we run parts in batches, so I need to report the same dims for multiple parts in the same fixture. So I would setup the first part and make the callout in Characteristics, then copy/paste that callout and change the name for say ten parts. Hit Run and the CMM will run the dim ONCE, move to nominal position and the report will generate showing the same result for every dim. My plan is to hit Run, it runs the dim, I switch in the next part and it runs it again. Then at the end of all this it shows the results for each part. Any assistance would be appreciated. [Ma...]
Do you need all of them on one protocol or you want to have one protocol for each one of part? If you are running Calypso then use CNC autorun and make a pallet. Now you will have one program for one part measured on matrix ( example 10x10 ) nests and after one measured part you will obtain one protocol - then it's measuring next part. [Wi...]
To be clear, when you say protocol are you referring to the results of the measurement? If so, yes I need all parts ran individually on one report. I haven't used AutoRun yet but will try that out today. Is this also how you can run multiple parts on the table at once if it's the same part?
[Ch...]
Sounds like you need PiWeb Reporting Plus and a Table Protocol or similar, which can pull multiple runs into one report.
