[Jo...]
Hello, I am trying to build a probe in Zeiss – Stylus System Creator that uses the M5, L-styli, ruby sphere, straight, tungsten carbide shaft L-stylus M5, DK1.5 L60 626115-5000-681, but I can’t find this stylus in the latest version of the stylus system creator, any advice on how I could get this built would be appreciated. I don’t see any L or special styli options and I have look through all the Sphere -> DK 1.1-1.9 -> M5 - > Ruby tips -> DK 1.5 and I don’t see any thing like it. Any advice on how I could get this built would be appreciated. Alternatively, there are some old inspection programs we have with this probe build in it that I am trying to replicate, but all my attempts to try to extract the probe build data off them have not worked out, if anyone has a way to do that it would be even better. [Ch...]
For more obscure stylus configurations that aren't present in the Stylus System Creator default components list you can leverage the "Generic" components to build any styli you wish. This components can be edited section by section to achieve the size and shape needed. Just make sure that you always finish with a stylus (not a generic sphere). For example I have created L-stylus M5, DK1.5 L60 626115-5000-681 in the attached SSC file for your reference. I built it on an adapter plate and extension but I hope this gives you an idea of how to do this yourself. You can also request a custom file as referenced in the KBA: SSC - .scl Import into Stylus System Creator (SSC) L-stylus M5, DK1.5 L60 .ssc
