[Je...]
How do I create a theoretical circle or cylinder with tangent surfaces in a V-block? Is this possible with Calypso? Who can walk me through this step by step?
[Jo...]
I have had mixed results scanning a curve on the V and then using "Circle in contour best fit"... I used to try to do this in gear teeth for a "over ball dimension" check but found another way of doing it. Circle in contour might have improved since i last used it many.. many.. years ago.... [Ün...]
Hello, you can try this Ölçer Topu/Pim Ölçer Boyutlarının Değerlendirilmesi.pdf
[ni...]
Hi, you can do an infinity of circle tangeant to two plan, so you have to choose one diameter. how i will do (I guess there is other way) First mesure the two plan of the V-block, construct a offset plan of each with your radius as value of offset. intersect the two offset plan. construct a theorical plan intersect the theorical plan and the previous intersection, that give you a point with witch you can construct a theorical diameter at the choosen diameter, by adding formula in X ; Y ; Z and the diameter
[Ja...]
Under "construction" there is "tangent". I don't think it works with planes though. If you intersect each plane of the V-block with the face of the V-block to get two lines instead of planes then you should be able to use "Tangent". Within "tangent" you just select each intersection line and enter the diameter.
[ni...]
tangent don't work with plane, but work great with line, it is much simple (than a contruction on the intersection of the intersection of the offset :) thanks
