Hello all, 

I could not figure out why the nominal keep changing. I have 2 programs one in the server and another one on the desktop and both has part program, but when I ran both and compared the nominal, I got different results with nominal calculation.  Please see reports below.

I would check that program in programming to see differences. There can be chance they are not the same

I have had instances where a programs nominals were slightly off of the value required, this typically has two parts.

1. The geometry will not calculate to the exact nominal value on the print.

2. Then the nominal is automatically placed in the characteristic at selection of the feature. You can change the nominal in the characteristic to be what is required, but, if the feature is reselected or in some cases where calypso will read the feature value you will get a new value in your nominal of the characteristic based on the nominal in the feature.

When it comes to geometry not calculating to the exact value on the print, I always use a formula to make the nominal stay at the value required.

The formula is simple, it's just the value required.
