Pattern a group?

Try as I might, I cannot seem to get my group to pattern properly. My goal is to measure the teeth around the OD of a part using a rotary table. Currently, the program is set to measure the left flank, right flank and depth in a pattern (i.e. it measures left flank of tooth one then left flank tooth two and so on then after all left flanks are done it measures right flanks). What I would like to do is capture all relevant features of each tooth before each rotation. In my mind this would be more efficient as I can use subclearance planes instead of the full clearance cube in the pattern. I've created additional alignments for each section and activated rotary table, but the part in simulation does not rotate and I receive collision errors as a result. I'm sure I am missing some minor detail to get this to work. Thoughts?

Update

Things I've tried so far include:

1. Create a pattern of the group - Rotational pattern for scallop: This creates a pattern for each point, however, Calypso sets the run order to measure all point 1's around the part followed by point 2, etc. Even using the optimal navigation tool, the set order still ends up the same.

2. Copy the points - Copying the points into a new group and assigning them to a new rotated alignment (rotary table activated). The graphic shows the points are moved to the right location, however, the rotary table is not moving to keep the position in X+. I've tried the "keep position" option and re-assigning to the base alignment which has the probe measure in the same location, albeit the rotary as well.
