Hi all

My CMM has a problem...

Does anybody have an idea as to what causes my machine to cut off the drive motor when trying change styli configuration.

It cuts the motor just as it is about to place the styli in the rack. I have attached the error message. Any idea would be greatly appreciated

I would try redefining the rack as a first troubleshoot if you have not yet.

If you look closely too as the stylus attempts to park relative to other bays, if it seems too high or low you can try manually offsetting the park position to keep it from possible collisions. This is kind of a last resort due to wear/aging of the holders or other potential hardware causes of missing the rack.
