[Ad...] Posted May 8 Share Posted May 8 Having an issue extracting features from CAD model. CAD model loads correctly. I can extract features from the model, define points on the model, everything is normal. Then when I save the program, I am no longer to do any of that. Can still create characteristics, and create features using probe, but no longer able to extract directly from CAD model. Any thoughts? After saving, extraction from CAD model stops working. This includes defining points on the model. All other tools function normally. [Jo...] Posted May 18 Share Posted May 18 I had this happen once when the "Work Area" checkbox got checked in the CAD Hierarchy. When you open the "Create Features" window and then click on the CAD model, does this allow you to extract and create features while that window is open (by assigning the feature type from the Create Features buttons)?
