[To...]
I know "len" and "length" are valid for the Length 1 property of a plane, but can't seem to find the attribute for Length 2. (what is the difference between len and length? Seems odd to have 2 attributes with the same result. [Ch...]
From Eric Moberg's Mimir program. I'm not sure the difference between len and length is. Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/26598-attribute-for-a-planes-length-2/#findComment-150536 Share on other sites
[Ch...]
Also looks like .width could be valid too. 1 Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/26598-attribute-for-a-planes-length-2/#findComment-150538 Share on other sites
[Th...]
The PCM reference says .length is for curve length. I haven't played around with it but it does return the same value as the formal curve length characteristic. [Ri...]
.length can be used for many things. Most commonly used with pulling the length of things like slots and rectangles. 1 Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/26598-attribute-for-a-planes-length-2/#findComment-150544 Share on other sites
[Ri...]
For Planes; .length pulls the Length 1, and .width pulls the Length 2. As Charlie stated, len1 will pull Length 1, and len2 will pull Length 2.
