[Ni...]
Hello everyone, For a test, I need to load an .SLDPRT file in Calypso. However, I can't load it because I keep getting a message saying that the option is not available. We don’t use SolidWorks, so I assume I simply don’t have the license for this, right? Does anyone know if there are time-limited trial licenses available for this and where to get them (Support, Sales, etc.)? Thanks in advance. [Qu...]
Hello, You can try to save the .SLDPRT file as .STEP file and Calypso will be able to read it.
[No...]
Are you sure? As far as I know Calypso can only read SAT/SAB and possibly DXF (?) without an additional license. Everything else needs an option license.
[Sv...]
That's correct—STEP is a licensed format, just like CATIA and others. SAT and SAB are the only royalty-free formats. I'm not sure about DXF.
