Will I get banned if I say Polyworks is another example of excellent, intuitive GUI? Personally, I'd prefer it if Zeiss worked harder on updating the 30 year old spaghetti code than putting a fresh coat of paint on it.

No way we are saying Polyworks has a nice GUI. 

At the end of the day every software has its own strengths and weaknesses when it comes to UIs - except for MCOSMOS 😆

In my experience, a user-friendly interface makes it more difficult to program complex measurement tasks. Calypso is more flexible - sometimes too flexible.

I fully disagree.

User-friendly GUI considers the needs and workflow of the participant.  Effective software makes complex tasks easier.

I see it the same way as many others. There likely won't be a Calypso 2026 version. But perhaps a really good 2027 one instead?

It's not going to be Calypso 2027, it's going to be Zeiss Calliope - a completely new software based on Zeiss Inspect. Remember, I called it first.
