Zeiss Contura does not recognize the RDS head

Hi, I’m having a problem with our Zeiss Contura CMM.

When I started the new shift this morning, I turned on the machine and opened the software, but the software showed that there was no defined stylus system. The RDS head also would not take points.

I confirmed that the system is not connected to simulation mode.

I tried to add a new stylus system, but the RDS option was not available. The light on the RDS head is still green, but when I touch the probe to the fixture, there is no beep sound.

I also tried to release the stylus system through the software and by using the controller keys(return shift f2), but the head still would not release the stylus.

Has anyone experienced this issue before, or does anyone know what could cause this problem?
