Slow saving in Calypso 2025 when saving measurementplan - sometimes

Hi all

Does anybody else experience extremely slow saving times when saving a measurement plan?

The program reports that it´s "Waiting for PiWeb reporting" and it takes forever to finish.

I got this message too. For me, it happened when the program launched via Autorun. Since applying the patch, the message has gone away, though I don't know if that's the reason.

I just had this happen when closing a measurement plan that I had opened to demonstrate some unrelated UI stuff. There was a stuck Piweb process that I killed in task manager, which got rid of that waiting window. I'm not sure I would do that if I had actually been running parts, though.

Good to hear that I'm not the only one it happens to - it does close down eventually, but it took several minutes to close down the PiWeb reporting - very annoying.

I have started getting this same problem too. I think it started with an old program, that was saved with new calypso version. very simple program too. Now it waits for minutes. and after starting, also hangs on other programs. Anyone found any fix? I havent updated to the last servi pack yet.

I have the latest patch installed, and I still have the problem so I don't think the Zeiss team are aware of this bug.

Hello Everyone,

several BUGs about this message have been reported in different constellations, according to development this issue should be fixed with the upcoming Servicepack 8.0.16.

Best Regards

Marcel
