Another 8.0 glitch

I need to change about 3 dozen circles to cylinders so I can use them in a common datum. When I open one up and change it, I get the error message below. Any ideas on how to get around this without having to make new cylinders from scratch?

Maybe: copy & paste all of the circles, and change the Z value of the 2nd set (using the Measurement Plan Editor), and them Recall Feature Points into new Cylinders... still a little work, but probably faster than extracting all of the Cylinders (definitely faster, if you are not using a CAD model)
