PMI enabled CAD models

Who is currently using PMI enabled CAD models for programming?

I feel I am late getting into PMI, and we are just now moving in that direction.

I am also working with Discus ballooning software for 2D prints and now testing out a trial license for PMI, any users using Discus and PMI, please chime in with any tips, hints or suggestions.

Thank you.

P.s.

Should we start a PMI Forum section?

If this is directed at me, primarily Creo (prt) which are converted to either SolidWorks and or Step.

So far when working with Discus, a prt file gave us the best PMI information. The step format AP242 was terrible in Discus.

AP242 seems to be ok with PMI information in Calypso less if you save the file within Calypso it loses the PMI information.

I don't think v2022 or earlier is capable of exporting AP242 files.
