History of actions

Hi,

is there a way to do in script some actions but having only one step in history?

I am making many points, but i would like to have it like one step.
I am working on a script where i want to have specified number of equaly spaced points. Since CAD model faces are strangely divided i get wrong results using section and reducing it's points.
Those points will be projected on mesh.

Edit:

I just found that my intended creation of points can be done by another approach, which is one step in history.

But anyways, question for that history step is still here
