[Mi...]
Does anyone here know if the fix assist has the ability to turn a probe to 120 degrees? I have a 6 way hub with the styli threads at 60 deg apart. I need to build out a system where the styli are at 120 using said hub I bought. It will end up being a 3 way system. I cant remember if the fixassist will do that or not. Also, what master sphere would you guys recommend for calibrating a 0.5 mm probe? [Ka...]
Hello, We use an 8 mm sphere to calibrate our 0.5 mm or 0.3 mm probes. Whether a larger sphere can be used depends on the length of the shank. The problem is that it is difficult to tell whether the shank has collided with anything during calibration: the parts are too small to be visible. That was the reason we decided to use an 8 mm sphere. Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/27706-fix-assist/#findComment-157382 Share on other sites
[Sv...]
We also work with an 8 mm RS for small stylus balls. Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/27706-fix-assist/#findComment-157384 Share on other sites
[Ri...]
I use a 30mm sphere for Ø0.5mm styli on our Micuras. You need a minimum LE of 15mm. 🤷♂️ Link to comment https://qualityforum.zeiss.com/topic/27706-fix-assist/#findComment-157406 Share on other sites
