MMC for a line - need to get linear size

I'm trying to get the position of the mid point of a line constructed from 2 points. I also need MMC for the callout, but I cannot get a linear size from a line. Is there any workaround to do this instead of using user defined?

Hi Tim,

maybe you can have a look at ZEISS Quality Tech Guide (gom.com).

Linear Sizes can be applied only to element types that you will find in that article.

And therefore MMR can also be only applied on those elements.

That's too bad it cannot be done by way of creating a circle from the mid point and using an extreme end point of the line as the radius value. This would in essence create a circle feature. In this situation the created circle does not allow you to create a linear size. I think this should be a feature as I will need to use user defined to get this done in this situation.
