Need documentation on .gxmlz file format

Hi All,

I am working on the image processing software outside GOM which generates the 3D grayscale volumes accompanied with rotation/translation matrix which (volumes) I would like to import to GOM. 

It is my understanding than .gxmlz file format (Volume Element XML) is what I need to use to convert my volumes into the ones which can be imported to ZEISS Inspect (GOM volume Inspect). 

Could someone point me to the documentation describing the format?
