Stress Vs Strain Fluctuations

Hi,

I am plotting stress strain curve in Gom correlate and getting fluctuations in the graph as show in the attached image. Is there any method or process to remove these fluctuations from the graph? I want smooth stress strain curve please help.

Dear Lalitesh,
it looks like the completely wrong measurement volume. You measured area (component) is just a very small part in the center of your image. With a much better resolution (more facts, more stable facets) and a detailed boundary of the surface component, you will get much smoother data in the first place. Secondly take care of your pattern and facets, not too fine/ too big / too sparse and also lighting and sharpness of the image (cannot see these details in your screenshot). Third: take care of measurement frequency (needs to be high enough) and filtering (looks like a smoothed curve?!?).
If you want more detailed help, try to get in contact with your local support/ ZEISS Partner (AE) - they can help you much more detailed (Teamviewer session, ...) than here in a forum. 😉
