Using "Define Scale" image resolution data in script editor?

Hi,

Im trying to use the pixels/mm resolution defined/created by the "Define Scale" option in a script to create a known size of gauge area (in mm) in a 2D image series.

ie if the image resolution is calculated as 11 pixels /mm in the "Define Scale" I want to use the resolution of 11 pixels/mm to create a 110 pixel x 55 pixel (ie 10mm x 5mm) gauge area. If the resolution is 15 pixels/mm then gauge area needs to be 150 x 75 pixels.

How can I access the results of the "Define Scale" parameters in the script editor? I cant find any of the parameters, but am unsure what to search for. Thanks.

to answer my own question and let other people find the answer - they can be accessed under "Scale 2D" parameters in the Deformation 1 Element.

Why is it called "Define Scale" in the software and "Scale 2D" in the scripting menu??
