Multipart functionality

Hello support team,

I programmed a inspection template for one part.

I am planning to scan simultaneously several parts with multipart functionality (12 times the same reference, same CAD model).

Is there a way to report the complete batch within the report that will be shown to the operator?

Hi,

our recommended way would be: 

• Separate inspection and scanning template
  • You can start with one of the templates and derive the other template from this template and extend it/remove unnecessary elements
• Execute measurements with the scanning template and polygonize your results
• Import your scanning project into the inspection template as trend project or for each part you can process your own inspection project

Nevertheless, you can also create the inspections in your scanning template but then you have to multiply each inspection feature for each part manually.

I strongly recommend to contact your local ZEISS partner to discuss the most appropriate approach which fits best to your requirements.
